I read about this place in the Mercury. It's going to be on Food Network's "Outrageous Food" show.

Deep fried pizza
Deep fried Twinkies
deep fried burgers

Who's tried it?

9 months and no chowhounders have dared or lived to tell the tale.

I know a couple guys on the crew team who've eaten there. Can't imagine anyone else would want to.

Crew or sculling burns 840 calories per hour.
          Enough said.

I will confess that the deep-fried mac and cheese was tasty, and the french fries were crisp outside and creamy inside. But once was probably enough.

As a pizza lover and general sucker for fried food, I had been curious about the deep-fried pizza. I think that if it had been made with pepperoni or sausage pizza it would have been better, but once was probably enough for me.

Onion rings were good. Nappa kim chi (plain, not fried) was good. Very low prices.
