Casual Sunday Lunch Near or North of San Carlos?

Hi. Looking for a very good, casual, reasonably inexpensive (<$25) Sunday lunch with minimal wait near San Carlos or somewhere reasonably close (preferably North) on the penninsula. Open to any cuisine: dim sum, BBQ, Mexican, Burmese... A taco truck or other alternative dining option is A-OK.

Koi Palace will probably have an incredible wait.

What about Don Pico's in San Bruno? or Kabul Afgan in San Carlos?

Shalizaar for Persian. I'm especially fond of the juicy chicken kabobs and baskets of cheese, parsley, walnuts, and bread.

How about Martin's West Gastropub in RWC...if they're open on Sunday.

There's a bit to choose from on the main drag in San Carlos-Laurel Street. La coroneta taqueria is probably my favorite-but depending on the company I am with I also like Mythos for Greek, Town for Californian cuisine, Refuge for sorta, kinda, not really New York style pastrami (they bill it as NYC style-I don't agree but it is tasty) and Pilita grill for turkish food.

            Refuge is closed Sunday.

Kabul is great. On a similar note Shalizaar is good as well.

There are many many great Chinese options as most Chinese restaurants are open Sunday lunch time. I really like Little Shanghai in San Mateo ( I am not sure if there is a wait for brunch).
