Cedar Plank Salmon
Hi there,
Looking for where you believe is the BEST place to get cedar plank salmon in the WHOLE of British Columbia. Distance is no object, price is no object - only conditions are that it has to involve cedar plank and be a reputable place that's still in business.
Thanks!

The Fish House in Stanley Park currently has a cedarplanked Artic Char and Sockeye Salmon entree on their menu.
It's also on the menu at the Sandbar on Granville Island.
Haven't tried either menu item but have enjoyed other fish and seafood dishes at both places.

I hadn't had cedar-planked salmon since 2001 in the Maritimes, then lo and behold it turned up at a meeting I went to last night. The maple glazed version from the Edge Cafe was very tasty and done to the right degree for me which is saying something. Not sure if this is on their regular menu or only available for catering though.

I don't know of any restaurant that prepares it anymore. The last number of times I had it have been at neighbourhood backyard BBQ's.
