Big Bass Boy, this ones for you

My best use of a $50 with three hungry hounds would be Peach Farm:

Peking Ravioli (6) $ 4.50
Med Hot and Sour Soup $12.95
Singapore Rice Stick $ 6.00
Beef with Broccoli $9.95
Clams w Black Bean $12.95
Rice $2.00

TOTAL: $48.35, plus tip (15%)

Hah! As soon as I saw this thread title the first thing that popped into my head was clams with black bean sauce at Peach Farm. Love that dish!

Having eaten at Peach Farm many times, I think it would be difficult to feed three for under $50. It could be done, but the best dishes - - steamed fresh fish for instance - - would be off-limits. In December four of us ate there for about $56 a couple, tout compris, with no left-overs. To be sure that was with beer and wine. On the other hand for about that amount I know you could stuff three hungry eaters at Windsor Dim Sum Cafe and still have left-overs.

This week three of us ate to our fill for $54, tax and tip included. That is without ordering any liquor. Over this weekend when I have a free moment to organize my thoughts, I will post our menu and a review on the Windsor Thread

Hey, for $60, we'd be fat and happy! Originally, someone said buffet was awful and for $15 one could get stuffed silly in Boston. Still though, Chinese menus have some of the best values around. Great posts!

In Chinatown, I'd go to Winsor instead. You could easily feed three normal people for $50 there.

Shanghai Gate: Fish head soup, steamed dumplings, sizzling eggplant and pork, string beans and garlic, rice. Yum

        Fo shizzo...

I could put something similar together as Best Little Resto, Heck at Wai Wai you could fee 6-8 people well on $50.

I can easily imagine something similar at Great Taste, Taiwan Cafe, etc. etc.
