Telegraph Hill Menu Update

Being in the neighborhood and all, I have been hearing that Telegraph Hill has or will go through menu changes. Personally, I find it convenient and the food to actually be pretty good for a quick bar bite or a place to just hang out for a couple of drinks.

$11 burger way undercooked, forgettable fries
$8 and $9 glasses of beer

All this adds up to a rip off!

I guess I got them on a good night. I really didn't think it was as awful as you describe.

We had one of our most memorably poor meals at this place -- mediocre food and excruciatingly bad service. In spite of their truly silly menu, they could not even manage to get burgers and fries right; no way would I trust them with the ersatz New Orleans stuff they listed. It's hard for a restaurant to make the sports bar next door look good by comparison, but Telegraph Hill managed to do just that. Reason number 167 why we desperately miss Donovan's......

[Fort Point]

Don't know about the menu status but had an excellent burger there for lunch recently with decent fries. Not a fan of the physical set up with the high tables. Owners were very friendly.

The menu could use a little consolidation. I felt like they were trying to do way too much. Especially for such a small space. It would be nice if they found one thong they did really well and go with that as opposed to being average at a little bit of everything.
