East Coast Grill Brunch- Crowded or Doable, Late?
They stop brunch at 2:30. Anyone know if we'd likely have trouble being seated if we go late- like 2pm?or maybe the crowds have thinned by that time? fav dishes? thnx much.

Ive shown up at 2 before a few times and they dont like it ... but whatever.
We try to sit at the bar and it's been crowded at 2, for sure.
The bloody bar is a must, but it's sort of picked over by then. I like the fish tacos, the yucatan platter and the fried yucca. The pork sandwich was not good the last time I had it.

I'm a late riser on the weekends so I tend to go for brunch at 2-ish. East Coast Grill is a bit of a crapshoot--there's usually some sort of wait for a table at that time depending on the size of the group, but I've gotten seated at the bar fairly quickly when it's just two of us.
I like the fried fish tacos (but I always ask for some lime for the fish--the glaze is a bit too sweet for me and benefits from some acid) and a Bloody Caesar.

Can't speak to timing -- most times I've been it's been pretty packed. But I love the food so I think it's worth a wait (on a nice day). The Duck rellenos are just great, and there are my favorite "roll your own" black n blue tacos on the menu as well. And who doesn't like a bloody mary bar?

The smoked pork tostada just says "duh, this is going to be good," and it is. I also liked the Yucatan breakfast platter. The smoked duck + jack tortilla rellena is good if you love cheese, but for me it's too much cheese and not enough acid to balance it out.
I think I was there at about 1:30pm once as a group of 6, and they said that the wait would be something like 60+ minutes, which we took to mean "go elsewhere." Early is no problem, but others should be able to fill you in on late.
