suggestion for rehearsal dinner [east bay RI]

Hosting rehearsal dinner for 30-40 people on Sat of Labor Day weekend (9-3-2011). The wedding is in Bristol RI on Sun 9-4. Most of rehearsal dinner guests are from out-of-state, staying in Seekonk. A large percentage of bridal party (including bride and groom) are vegetarian. Would like a casual place, hope to keep food to under $50/person. I read the post about Sardella's in Newport, which sounded great but wondering if Newport would be too crazy/busy on Sat nite of Labor Day weekend?

I would highly recommend 1149 Restaurant in Seekonk. They have a beautiful room to hold private parties. Also, nearby in Providence is the Waterman Grille that has a lovely indoor patio overlooking the Seekonk River.
