Saginaw for foodies?

Looking for the authentic and non-chain restaurant in the Saginaw area. Perviously we had enjoyed Bergers in Bay City, where we tried and enjoyed the tongue. We would particularly like to find a restaurant that isn't all about meat and fried foods. And, since we are working late, we are looking for somewhere we could go on the late side--around 9 pm. We are here tonight and tomorrow night. Thanks, from a CH'er from the west coast.

I like Harvey's, and they are open late:

There is another Polish buffet restaurant in Bay City but can't remember the name. I think Krzysiak House is the larger one. Great place to stop for lunch on our way north but then I want to nap!

If you are willing to drive to Bay City and enjoy Polish food; consider Krzysiak House Restaurant:

Another alternative - my favorite place for lasagna is Ruggero's in Flint. Order the "deluxe," it
is made with italian sausage rather than ground beef:

I'm uncertain about the closing times; check-out their respective websites or call ...
