Headed to Surinam

My job is taking me to Surinam next month. I've never been here before, so i'm wondering what are some places / dishes i should check out. We'll be staying in Paramaribo so anywhere within the city ( or just outside it ) will be vigorously checked out.

I live in the Dutch Caribbean part of the year and on our island, I savour Surinamese cuisine. I love Roti, a flaky burrito like treat folded and served with curried chicken and green beans. Unlike Trini Roti, it's got the bones. Try Bami or Nasi Rames. The food is heavily influenced by the Indonesian connection. Enjoy and report back.
