Looking for light fare and stiff drinks or wine south of Canal

This will be in the early evening on a Friday. Don't think we'll be able to make happy hour. We've considered Luke and Cafe Adelaide... Any other suggestions? We have a late dinner res at Patois, so anything between Canal and there is fine, although nothing too heavy. Great cocktails or wine list is a huge plus.

Thanks!

Or Bouche, in the Warehouse District, the Wine Institute a block or two away is also fun for trying out different wines, they have salads and charcuterie also.

Since you are going uptown, try Oak Wine Bar a half a block off of South Carrollton on Oak Street. Beautiful setting and great appetizer menu.
