Grain mill for breaking soybeans to make tempeh (moved from L.A. board)

Tom_Fountain_Valley Apr 4, 2011 11:21 AM

Please recommend a grain mill that I can use to make tempeh. There are plenty of grain mills out there and I just don't know which one to buy and I hoping to avoid owning a lot of them until I find a right one.

I hope somebody can help me or at least point me to the right direction.

Thank you.

You don't want to grind soybeans for tempeh; you'd just end up with soy flour. Just try to find split dry beans.
