Older sister needs help finding a private room or area for 12 person bachelorette party

I am a relatively ancient person who is throwing a bachelorette party for my stylish younger sister and her friends. I need a space downtown where the food is good and they have a space we can all sit, eat and drink and enjoy ourselves. For another party we went to one of the karaoke rooms at Congee Village, and for a friend's 40th we used Barbuto's private table--both were excellent! I am wondering if there are any new and hip options that would provide a similar nexus of taste, fun, and cost. Happy to go into the neighborhood of $65/person, including wine. She loves Asian food, btw. Thanks!

Beauty & Essex does not meet all your requirements, but it's a good choice for the stylish. I only had a drink there, so I can't vouch for the food, but it was hopping at 8pm on a Tuesday, and the crowd was surprisingly diverse, age-wise (translation: I did not feel like someone's dowager aunt). There are also lots of separate areas your group could commandeer and feel as though you were in your own space, and there are some Asian choices on the menu: shishito peppers, spring rolls, tuna sashimi.

Public has a semi private table and is has a very hip decor. Their 3 course dinner for a group is at $60pp though. But it is a very stylish restaurant, and the cuisine definitely has Asian elements.

A few years ago I went to a birthday dinner at Chinatown Brasserie. They have a room called the Gold Room that seats up to 20. I think we were around 12 or 14 and it was a set menu with a bunch of appetizers and entrees all served family style. I can't remember the cost (we all split the cost) but I seriously doubt it was over $65pp.

Thanks everyone. I saw that Hung Ry has a private room and I booked that. It looks like it fits the bill--if anyone thinks differently, please let me know! Thanks again.

Hung Ry's private room is not super beautiful, but it worked out really well. The restaurant staff was very helpful--from Edwin, who helped me arrange the evening and plan the menu, to Christine, who served all of us. We were never rushed and the wine, which was delicious, kept coming. The food varied in quality--the vegetable plate was delicious but the fluke was eh. The noodle soups were good. They only have sorbet for dessert, so they let us bring in cookies and then heated them for us and arranged them nicely on plates. We were thirteen but you could probably fit 18 down there, or maybe even 20. We did all kinds of bachelorette party things and didn't bother anyone. I could probably have negotiated better for price but we ended up all in--tax, tip, and paying for the bride-to-be--a little under $100/person.

I would look at Pfaff's on B'way near Bleecker. They have rooms that look out into the main room plus very good food/drinks that will meet or exceed your expectations. This is a new place that just opened a few weeks ago and relatively unknown to the general public. The $65/person is possible to meet.
