Toronto Bar for Birthday

I am looking for a bar/lounge to go to for my birthday this coming week. I will probably have about eight friends with me and we are looking for somewhere not too fancy, no cover and not too expensive. I am new to the city (living in the Roncesvalles area) and am not sure what places are good. I would like to make reservations for a table so we have somewhere to sit, and some of my friends won't be able to make it until later in the night, so preferably nowhere that normally has a line up or at least nothing long.

Help please!

  1. Forgot to mention - we are all around 25 years old.

    1. In your hood there's Mitzi's Sister that might fit the bill:

      1. Not sure if ur looking for actual food or mainly cool place to hang out....in either case, here are a few suggestions. Marben has food and a great vibe. The Ossington strip is a pretty safe bet - Libretto has great pizza and Reposado is great for cool vibe and small bites. Pravda is fun and packed with a fun crowd. Have a fab birthday!!
