restaurant depot coming to port chester!

hey fellas, just found out from looking at sunday's hours in Mt. Vernon that a new Port Chester Restaurant Depot will be opening up! It looks to be at the corner of Boston Post Road and South Regent Street. Should be good for the smaller local eateries and easy on/off traffic from 95 and 287. Coming Q3 of 2011

Wish we non-professionals could shop there!
Sounds like it could make life difficult for Harris and Strauss. I hate to see worthwhile and long-established businesses harmed, but that's capitalism.

I thought we could shop there?!? See the recent thread about it. You have to open an account with your taxpayer id # is all...BPR and Regent? The A & P went out over there but I thought it was going to be a baby store or kids store...should be interesting. Not a great traffic helper for that area as it's a mad-house most of the day as it is.

Traffic is going to stink as they have a lot of big trucks coming in. If you have a business id you can get a card. very easy.

It's not going in where A&P was, it's under construction on the hill going up S. Regent over where AAmco used to be, kind of up and behind Il Sogno restaurant. Yes, traffic will be wonderful.

Awful! Regent has to be widened as it is! I almost killed two nuns the other day. That poor street is choked already all the time. The Bakery drivers are going to kill someone!
