Here are some questions to help us Boston Hounds help you.

Location? Where will you be staying and what type of transportation would you be willing/able to sue?

Preferences for cuisines or foods you particularly like or wish to avoid?

Also, if you could give an example of a "nice dinner" you've had in the past, that could help too. What is nice differs from person to person.

We are staying with a friend on Newberry Street

We live in the NYC area so do alot of fine dining there. We have done alot fo michelin starred places in nyc, so we are looking for something special. We did a wonderful dinner at Eleven Madison Park in NYC, but that is way over budget.......

We really are open to any type of cuisine. The one thing we need to avoid is raw fish.......

La Voile which is right near you has a 40.00 prix fixe menu (that's without wine) that is eclectic with a nice range of choice. Island Creek or Eastern Standard Kitchen might work. Peach Farm in Chinatown certainly will work.
