I bought this at a traditional market in Taiwan. Does anyone know what it is? It's about 30 cm long from the base to the start of the leaves.
Thanks! I've never even heard of this one.
The greens at the top, "cut off" and used separately - aren't they also what is known as "Taiwanese Lettuce" or "A" Choy ? Or grown and picked when small without the stem allowed to develop? Or is that something else altogether?
