General Store - Dead or Alive?

I just drove by and saw an empty parking lot and a huge SALE/LEASE banner. Whassup?

Sad. It was a very neat space with damned good food. Also a great landmark that I passed twice a day.

      2. Dead. I ran into the cashier last week and he confirmed it had closed. I'm pretty sure her new place on K St. is still due to open later this year, though.

As they say, location, location, location. I went a couple of times. Good food, but not worth the hassle of the rude staff or trouble parking.

I never had problem parking. The attitude was a given if you were familiar with Colorado Kitchen, though not as bad at the General Store. She seemed a bit more accessible, not a lot but some. My only expection which was always met was that the food was good.

        2. Since it's been established that the restaurant is closed, and since we've had to remove a number of posts speculating on the reasons why, we're going to lock this now
