Sherman Oaks Farmer's Market Debuts Tomorrow

On the northwest corner of Sepulveda and Camarillo, it will be every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hope it takes off!

I just returned from the "new" farmers market. I guess it will take some time to season, but for me, there was nothing to choose from. Not in any hurry to return.

I'm afraid I left feeling the same way. Hope it grows into something useful.

Carole mentioned today that there will be many more vendors next week, and she figures that most of those in Studio city will follow her to Sherman Oaks. As to new ones, nothing was mentioned specifically. But since I found my regular vendors from Studio City, that means I don't have to go tomorrow morning. I like the Saturday option much better than the Sunday option.

Heading there right now. It is a certified market, being run by Carole Gallegos, who for 7 years ran the Studio City Farmer's Market. I know several vendors that I regularly bought from in Studio City will also be in Sherman Oaks. Should be a winner, and on Saturday, which is a better day for me to shop than Sunday. Will become a regular part of my Saturday routine.

That's great. It's only about five blocks from my house. It's also s right next to the Galleria, so there will be plenty of available parking.
