Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in the SF Bay Area (including Berkeley, Oakland, Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and San Jose)

Basketball and Napa

Heres one I know people will wonder about...

Visiting Napa/Sonoma for my annaul binge and made plans to visit long before we realized our Uconn Huskies... would both (men and women) ...would both make the final four...there are games Sat, Sun and potentially Monday and Tues night...all at about 6:30 Pacific.

So...since we eat like pigs when we visit...and frequent the well known as well as the local hot spots...the last thinge we want to do is sit in our hotel room during prime dinner hour...

Any suggestions about places that would be showing the games, serving soem decent wine and have a decent hand with the food?

Go Huskies...

  1. You might want to try the Silverado Brewing Co. in St. Helena. I have not been there, so I cannot recommend it personally. But it looks like your best bet for a sports bar-type place in Napa Valley.

Silverado Brew Co is fun and great food. Another option is the Calistoga Inn if you're up valley. Nice local hangout with good beers and food.
