I think it's a good thing the Lex's menu is getting refreshed - just hate to see a bunch of folks losing their jobs. Hope they don't change the bar - best place to get a martini in St Paul.

I was just being cheeky. Sounds like they're keeping the bar open during renovation, which bodes well. Honestly, there is nothing to be gained from futzing with the atmosphere. I think the goal is to update the food. I haven't eaten there, but from what I understand, the cuisine is in major need of a facelift.
