Best place for trendy & fine dining in San Antonio?

I will be staying at the Valencia Hotel on the Riverwalk and am looking for the best restaurant that offers fine dining in San Antonio. Money is not an object. We love seafood, and steak of course. We are in our 20's so a fun and trendy place would be ideal. Would like to stay downtown near the Riverwalk but would be willing to travel (we have a car)... where can I find the best meal in San Antonio?

    Citrus in the Valencia Hotel is very nice, the chef just won a Paella cookoff (John Besh of Luke came in second) and that's their special for lunch. I would also suggest Ostra, Bohanan's, Boudro's.

      Not fine dining, but damn trendy-The Monterey. Great place to kick back for happy hour and stay for a casual, but amazing dinner. Man, just thinking about duck hearts and pork belly is making me drool. A quick Google search will get you the menu. be warned, it gets packed.

        We like Biga on the Banks for fine dining. It's on your end of the River Walk. We walk there from La Mansion Hotel.

          Luke, John Besh's new restuarant.
          Il Sogno- best restaurant in town IMO.
          Sand Bar- best seafood
