Asheville Downtown Dinner options
Help! we're coming in this weekend and having a tough time picking a spot for dinner Saturday night. Market Place is closed (was 1st choice) and Admiral is booked (2nd choice). Hoping to stay downtown but will drive if worth it. Any recommendations/suggestions? We are thinking of Limones for dinner Sunday
Thanks!

re: miss piggy
we ended up at Cucina 24 for dinner Saturday night. Pretty disappointing to be honest. 8pm reservation and they couldn't seat us until 8:30. Finally sat, when we were informed that they were out of many items and that they were short staffed- not a good sign. Not a good start! Our server was very nice, but overall, service was slow (guessing due to the missing kitchen staff?) and the food was lackluster. Salad advertised fennel, which I finally found a sliver of on my last bite, and the trout entree was a little overcooked and way overseasoned. We had high hopes, but would not return- too many other good options!
Dinner at Bistro 1896 on Sunday was great- we love this place and will definitely go back. The Chicken Penne Marsala was fantastic and the price point was very reasonable. Spent some quality time at The Southern enjoying their fun Bloody Mary bar and some beers on the back patio- great hang!-----

The Southern is my favorite but know it turns more bar scene the later it gets. I like Boca but others have had some hit and miss experiences. I've never had a bad experience at Zambra and love it. Again others have had some misses there as well. My vote would be The Southern. Just can't get enough of that place mmmmm.
