Restaurants open late in the Loop?

We're coming from Memphis to see U2 in July. We're staying at the Hotel Monaco and would like to know if there are any restaurants near there that would still be open after the concert. Most of the restaurants that I am coming across close at 11 during the week (the concert is on a Tues). Anyone know of any open to at least midnight? or later?

Thanks

  1. Hotel Monaco is at the northeast corner of the Loop, along the Chicago River. Your best bet for nearby late-night dining is to cross the river into River North and the Mag Mile area, as there are numerous good places open late in that area within a short walking distance of your hotel:

Quartino (small plates Italian, 7 blocks north, kitchen open till 1:00 a.m. weekdays) - www.quartinochicago.com
    Uno and Due (deep-dish pizza, 6 blocks north, 1:00/1:30) - www.unos.com
    Billy Goat (burgers, 2 blocks north, 2:00) - www.billygoattavern.com
    Mercadito (Mexican, 4 blocks northwest, 1:00) - www.mercaditochicago.com
Chicago Cut Steakhouse (steakhouse, 4 blocks west, 1:30) - www.chicagocutsteakhouse.com
Smith and Wollensky (steakhouse, 2 blocks northwest, 1:00) - www.smithandwollensky.com

Miller's Pub, a recommendation by lbs below (and a good one), is 4 blocks south.

    1. On the way from Soldier Field to your hotel is Miller's Pub - not exactly high end cusine but the burgers are juicy and big and the beer list is really good. Kitchen is open until 2 am.
