Will be heading here in a couple of weeks. Any thoughts?

  1. Generally good French food at B P. I like it. Best to dine on the patio when weather permits.

Locals know to go there only for their early bird specials, with app, main and glass of wine.
Beware, they try to turn the tables a bit too fast in season, so hold your ground! Bamboo Cafe across the way has a nice Moroccan touch to its French cuisine.

Better quality food and a relaxed ambiance unlike Bleu Provence is at Escargot 41, my favorite. Then comes Cote d'Azure or Le Lafayette, which are good not great, and priced a bit high-these latter ones are popular with tourists. You'll have a solid good meal at any of these.

Why thank you very much! I'll report back post repaste.

    2. always had good meals there and never felt rushed but haven't been there in a while.

don't forget to try Norman Love's new cafe across from Coastland Mall (next to USS Nemo)--it is a real jewel. a real european patisserie.

Agreed, Norman's new spot is terrific!

      2. Love Love Love Bleu Provence!!!!!! Their mussels will change your world - and the duck leg confit..... simply heaven on a plate. Oh - I have never had a piece of fish cooked SO PERFECTLY as their Loup de Mer. Funny - I have never had dessert there because I am always so full.

There are reasonably priced wines on the wine list too. Early bird specials till 6, Sunday is a Steak Frites special, and Tuesday is the mussel special.

My hubby & I go for just mussels and wine sometimes and sit at the bar.
