Early Dinner on Elm St.

I have a visitor from Australia and we are going to an event at the Arts and Letters Club on Friday. It starts at 7 so we'll need to have an early dinner. The Club is on Elm St. and it's been a long time since I ate there. What is a moderately priced restaurant you can suggest for us?

I enjoy the grilled squid at Adega... it's on Elm right across the street from the Delta Chelsea.

I'd walk a bit south and have noodles at Kenzo over either Queens, imo :-) It's at Yonge and Dundas

If you like Izakaya's and japanese in general, You may want to go to Sushi Queen Izakaya on the corner of Elm and Bay St. (north side)

The Queen & Beaver, a very nice gastropub with good food. It's expensive by pub standards, but moderate by restaurant standards.
