Anaheim Convention Center

Looking for some good dinner spots near the Anaheim Convention Center. Any good Thai or Indian close by? I am trying to stay away from Downtown Disney and the chains, although I hear the bar bites menu at Morton's steakhouse is good. I will be staying at the Hilton. Has anyone tried Mix, at the Hilton?

There is a nice small collection of African options not too far away if you are interested. Merhhaba is Eritrian/Ethiopian. Kenyan Cafe and Cuisine is, well, Kenyan, and Tana is another Ethiopian place in the same area.

I can vouch for the first. I have read mixed reviews on the second (though it is in my sights) and I have heard good things about the third.

And I can definitely second the recommendation for Thai Nakorn.

Thai Nakorn in Garden Grove for Northern Thai. It's one of the best Thai restaurants in OC / LA, and just a short drive from the Convention Center. Stick to the Isaan specialties, chef's specials, whatever they're called, rather than the usual Thai dishes you can get everywhere.
