I keep hearing good things about Lazy Ox Canteen. What do people recommend ordering?

Thanks!

If you like mussels, they did a brick roasted bowl of them with french feta & sriracha broth, (sounds weird I know, but go with it) that I almost put up to my face to drain when the mussels were all gone. Order extra grilled bread.

if they have it as a special, the oxtail pot pie. the burger is good. the pigs ears.

Second the pig ear's, the lamb neck with quinoa is good. But FYI, the better part of the menu is composed of special's up on the chalk board. It's like a new menu every time you go - also check out the family style daily specials. If they haven't changed recently I think tonight is fried chicken night.

I agree with mrgreenbeenz - the specials on the chalkboard are the way to go (and note that most of them are only available for dinner). I love love love the bone marrow farro (and it's fun to say). Also, the rice pudding is delicious.
