Guys Dinner in Ft. Lauderdale
I am bringing 25 of my best buddies to Ft. Lauderdale for my 50th birthday(sorry, leaving the wives at home) and I am looking for a couple fo good dining options. I want something like Big City Grill or Marks that can handle a group of our size. We are staying on the beach so something East of 95 would be great.
Any suggestions?

Timpano on Los Olas is a great place for a guys dinner. They have a couple of private rooms for parties just like this and the prices are more reasonable than 954 Steak and the food is excellent and well executed. A fun place for a party.

re: Blind Mind
Thanks everyone. I have checked several of these places and think I am going to go with Chima - my experience is that the service at Brazilian Steakhouses is extremely efficient so it won't take all night. The cost is $50++ not including alcohol. I also checked with Timpanos and found their group pricing to be very expensive($60-80pp plus drinks).
I looked at 954 steak and it looked like the pricing was similar to Shulas/Mortons/Capital Grille/Ruth Chris, etc. I love them all, but I am not on an expense account for this event. just me paying the tab.
I would love to find a place were I could get them a good meal in a fun environment and get out for under $50 not including drinks but it doesn't appear to be any such place close to where we are staying( Hilton Marina). Please let me know if you think of anything.-

Did you check Yolo? Definitely the most fun place, and really good food. Remember when you are comparing that Chima does not include dessert, so if a restaurant is only offering a set menu, you may want to check if they will only do two courses. Or try and see if they will just let you order off the regular menu. Yolo apps are mainly to be shared, and mains are a good price range, so you should be able to keep the cost down.
Rok:Brgr is good and we have been there for boys night, but wouldn't do it for a 50th. Himmarshee Bar and Grill next door could be a good option. Excellent food, not sure if they have the space. China is quite a good option.

Market 17 is wonderful and if you're adventuresome the dining in the dark option might be fun. Also Johnny V's on Las Olas is very good. I haven't been and I can't think of the name of the restaurant in the W Hotel on A1A, but it's supposed to be excellent. I've heard that from several people I would trust.
Have a happy BD!-----

Agreed on YOLO and the crowd is about your age too. Another suggestion would be Solita on Las Olas though I'm not positive they can accommodate a party of that size.
