Traditional breakfast

I've read a lot of posts about "fancy" breakfasts, but are there any great traditional breakfast places in Seattle proper? I'm a huge fan of egg white veggie omelets, oatmeal, and yogurt and granola.

Try the Dish Cafe in Ballard or the Hi-Spot Cafe in Madrona. They are both very good.

I agree with frygirl, The Dish is wonderful. They even serve coffee to those waiting in line outside.

Just for something different - Dutch Baby. I like The Original Pancake House on 15th ave in Ballard.

agreed, and their Georgia pecan pancake with coconut pecan syrup is inspiring.

Pete's Egg Nest on Greenwood is fantastic.
