Is Bun 'n' Burger the best Mexican restaurant in Alhambra/SG??

Today I think I just had the best chicken enchiladas ("suizas") I can remember. The place was full at lunch with people downing big bowls of menudo (Sat/Sun only), big plates of chorizo con huevos, etc. Looking to try the chilaquiles or nopalitos next. So, this is basically a full-service SoCal-style Mexican restaurant in disguise. Worth a try if you need a break from all-Asian, all the time.

I would put it up against Macho Cafe on Mission near San Gabriel Blvd., which (so far) is still my favorite. Been disappointed with other Mexican options in the area (Beto's, Pepe's, Tia Gladys, etc.).

Oh yeah - the burgers here are fine. Not all that memorable, but pretty typical "L.A. coffee shop" burgers.

In San Gabriel, there's Babita and Tia Gladys, both of which I think are better.

In Alhambra, I would go to La Cafeina before Bun N Burger.
