2nd time at Modo Mio
was at Modo Mio with 2 other couples whom we wanted to introduce to this GEM of a restaurant. Again had a fantastic meal- 4 courses via the tourista menu for $34/per person. The staff is extremely professional, friendly as well as well versed on the menu items. The food is so delicious across the board with extreme concentrated flavors exploding on your tongue with each taste. highlights included the mussels, seared scallop over polenta with veal ragu, crab with ricotta, lasagna with fried egg on top, veal cheeks with pasta and another fried egg, a delicious egg plant dish, grilled bronzino, a interesting beef tongue dish, a rabbit filled angelotti pasta. For deserts we had them bring out one of everything and again each dish was great! We tried to share everything so we all got to taste each dish and the consensus is that every dish was delicious, so full of flavors and this chef clearly is talented and gets it. What a delightful place. BYOB only adds to the appeal!
