All-point bulletin for Landemaine fans in Paris who want to help Japan's quake victims

Parigi Mar 27, 2011 09:59 AM

You have big heart and sweet tooth? This is for you.
All 3 Landemaine shops are turning over all their proceeds on March 28th (Monday) to Red Cross Japan to help the earthquake victims. What better epicurian excuse to do a good humantarian deed. What better humanitarian excuse to go crazy on pastries.

Addresses of the 3 Landemaine:
- 26 Rue Martyrs
- 56 rue Clichy
- 130 Rue Roquette

The 130 rue de la Roquette adress is closed today... so they are probably only doing that at the other 2 adresses... (I know... cause I walked all the way to there, to find a "closed on monday" sign... sigh...).

Sorriest. The announcement by Landemaine does specify that the 3 stores are exceptionally open today for the fund-raising.
Come to the rue des Martyrs store. I can vouch for its opening. We bought a whole bunch of stuff there this morning.

Not your fault, it does say on their sign (http://www.dailyneuvieme.com/photo/ar...) that all three places will be open...

Unfortunately, rue des Martyrs is too far out of my way to be able to get there today.

Am about to go again to Landemaine for a pastry run on your behalf. :-) Consider you owe me a pastry.
Just kidding. Am also eating it on your behalf.

Haha, if I can eat the pastry I owe you on your behalf as well, then we have a deal !

Mmm, just finishing your tarte fine aux pommes and your tarte fine aux abricots. About to start your moelleux au chocolat. Yum, don't you think?

                Now you're just being mean ! ;)
                Cheers to that moelleux then.

I'll let you know when I will eat the pastry I owe you.

Ok, a promise is a promise.

I just passed by the rue des Martyrs, and ate a tarte fine aux abricots and a Paris Brest on your behalf ! :)

                  Are we even ? ;)

Am totally confused, but as long as fellow hounds eat a lot of great pastries on each other's behalf, hurray.

Hey you started the whole "on your behalf thing" !

Hurray indeed, as the Paris Brest was really the best I've had (granted it's not something I often buy) !
