Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in The Middle East, Southwest Asia and Africa

Vegetarian and Vegan restaurant in Tel Aviv, Israel

I am very surprised to not have found any discussion of Buddha Burgers here on the boards.

A few weeks ago I visited their spot in Tel Aviv on Yehuda HaLevy. Oh my.

Their menu is extensive. You can view it online, here:

It is in both English and in Hebrew.

The service was slow to order as there was someone new working, but the food came out fairly quickly and was very memorable. I ordered potato gnocchi with grilled tempeh in pesto, and a spirulina smoothie. The dish was massive and delicious. Cremy pesto, perfectly grilled tempeh that wasn't chewy, and the gnocchi was cooked slightly al-dente. The smoothie was equally delicious.

I would go here again in a heartbeat, as there were a number of seemingly delicious items on the menu.

Have fun,

  1. I think Buddha Burgers is great. I've loved everything I've tried there. Wish they would open up a branch in Jerusalem.
