Need a place for family to eat before the game on Sunday, with some under 18

  1. goodhealthgourmet Mar 26, 2011 08:43 PM

the Knicks aren't playing tomorrow so i assume you're referring to next Sunday, April 3rd. and since the game is at 6 pm i'm guessing you're looking for a late lunch/*very* early dinner...?

no idea what your budget or preferences might be, so:

Problem is places we know of are not open on Sundays. FAmily going from a charity walk to a game at 6, so we are looking for 4:00. No preference as to food type. Celebrating a birthday for a group of 8.

ouch. 4 pm on a Sunday in that neighborhood is tough. my immediate instinct was Keens, but they don't open until 5 on Sundays.

sorry, you didn't provide budget restrictions so when you said it was a celebration i went for the higher-end option. i *totally* forgot about Nick & Stefs, but it's just as expensive as Uncle Jack's unless you do the prix fixe menu.

Thank you. Many places near MSG not open on Sundays. FAmily going from charity walk to game next Sunday, so figure 4:00. 8 people, celebrating birthday.

Company pizza at 24th St and 6th Ave. If you arrive at 4:00, I'd bet you could park for free on one of the side streets, say 29th Street. You could then walk down to Co., walk or cab it back to MSG, and then walk to your car after the game.
