Pre-theater lunch near Segerstrom Center for the Arts (COSTA MESA)

Would love recommendations for a place to go for lunch pre-theater near Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. Going with my mother and 16 year old daughter. Looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere and varied menu. I am not familiar with OC restaurants as I live on the Westside....Do any restaurants serve brunch type food on Saturdays? Anyone have a favorite place???

Pizzeria Ortica on Anton is a good place, nearly next door to the theatre.

Another good suggestion re Pizzaria Ortica-will check out that menu to for my daughter's approval.

Pinot Provence is closed for lunch on Saturdays by the way so I can scratch that one off the list:(

Just called to make a reservation at Pizzeria Ortica....Not open for lunch on Saturdays:(
My daughter's second choice based on menus is Capital Grille so we are going to try it out.

Your best bets might be Capital Grille, Charlie Palmer or Marche Moderne (excellent French), all of which are located across Bristol from the Segerstrom Center in South Coast Plaza. Of the three, Charlie Palmer might have brunch items (I know they have a Sunday brunch), the other two are more lunch.

Charlie Palmer and Marche Moderne both serve a 3 course lunch menu for the very reasonable price of between $20 - $25. For a still nice but, less formal atmosphere, there's Old Vine Cafe who offer the same.
