Dobos Torte in Toronto?
So a Hungarian friend of mine is always looking for a good spot to get Dobos Torte (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dobos_torte)
So far I have found it at the Coffee Mill but I am trying to see where else I can find this. I know Hamilton has a few good spots I am trying to source it closer. Any suggestions are very appreciated!

This is what you're looking for. I got it for my mom's b-day last year. Amazing. I love the crisp caramel on top, which he makes with small grooves for easy slicing.

They aren't cheap ($35 for a small cake I think?), but the cakes are all handmade and they really good.

re: plavka
Solero Mediterranean Bakery (name is misleading, actually more Serbian/E European) had Dobos - good though the top is not very brittly caramelized. They are on the S side of Dundas just at the E corner of H Park.
Also it is always available at the celebrated Hungarian deli the Blue Danube in Etobicoke - Chauncey just W of Islington. Theirs has a nice brittle top.-----
