Where do you go for your cheese fix in the city? Thanks!

Cheese Plus at Polk x Pacific is terrific! I think it's 2001 Polk St, SF. Ray Bair owns it and went 'out on his own' after being a cheese buyer for Whole Foods. They also do espresso, and have other specialty foods (sausages, wine, crackers, oils, pasta, etc) and sandwiches.

They're permitted as a restaurant (type 41) and the blog has a lot about chairs. Is it supposed to be more of a retail shop or more of a sitdown place?

It seems like it's going to be a combo. they'll have a full-on cheese counter for retail, and then tables for sit down with cheese and wine.
