Does anyone know if there is any stand or restaurant, in the South Florida area, that does "New England Seafood Take Out? Fried Clams, Not those Strips, the Real Big Bellies, Real Beer Battered Onion Rings..Etc...........????

How about a "Real Old Fashioned Bakery"? Anything but "Publix" Frozen Cakes.Homeade, Made to Order...Just like the bake shops back in the North...........

The best New England style resto (IMO) is Kelly's Landing. The whole clams (with bellies) are fantastic. Also not to be missed is the NE clam chowder and the lobster roll. Probably the best in the area.

Thanks Alfred....Been there once, and I did like it...You have to go early, and I mean early..For I noticed by 8:30pm, they are sold out of alot of the Fresh seafood, that was flown it that day..There seafood is flown in I think on Thursdays from Boston? Thats the freshest time, and people know it. Sadly I ended up with nothing out of the litter..I did manage to get a Fried Clam Plate.
I am a native New Englander, and I know a Clam Plate, and their version of Clams in NOT mine.
Small bellies if that, and not enjoyable..But thanks for telling me.Appreciate it..I know there has to be other places..There once was a take out place at the bottom of Oakland and A1A, now gone..Had just Fried New England Plates to go.Clams, scallops, etc..
in Delray Beach on Atlantic East the Daughter of the man that owns ""LL BEAN" in MAINE, opened a "LOBSTA ROLL" take out place.

I don't know if it would qualify as "Take out" but Boston's on the Beach in Delray Beach has some fantastic whole belly clams when they are in season. I also agree with the Kelly's Landing suggestion and would consider the clams at Boston's on par with those at Kelly's. (Kelly's chowder on the other hand is far superior to Boston's). Also, while I can't speak from recent experience, Tark's Clam Stand in Dania has a decent reputation for whole belly clams.

We got our wedding cake from Grampa's Bakery in Dania and I would highly recommend their fresh baked goods.

Tarks is good but I can't believe it passes Health Department inspections. That place is just dirty.

Agreed on Grampa's. I miss Hollywood.

I've not been to Kelly's but the fried clams at Boston's are OK at best. I was real excited to try them and was let down a little bit because they just didnt taste good and were a bit rubbery.

Linda Bean's Perfect Maine Lobster Roll in Delray serves a fantastic lobster roll. It's a little pricey @ about $15 but it's as authentic as they get, loaded w/ claw meat and served on a buttered New England style hot dog bun.
