What style of ham are you looking for?

There's different styles??? Yikes!
I guess I'm just looking for a tasty Virginia baked ham plate...

Yep...Country (Aged & Cured) and City Ham (Honey Smoked) are two most common for Easter in the US. Picnic Ham is not really a ham....it is shoulder and not buttock meat. :)
We don't wanna even get started with talking about Jamón Ibérico Bellota, Prosciutto, Bayonne, Njeguška pršuta, York ham or the tons of other various micro regional hams. No talking about them....just slice thin and enjoy.

So let's go for a Country Ham dinner plate. With biscuits. With Red Eye Gravy. With Greens. With bar service. Have I struck out?

Yes . Yes , you have . Betty Ross II diner on John R in Madison Heights does a great country ham dinner plate , but greens and bar service ? What planet are you from , exactly ? I guess Omara's in Berkley might do a passable ham dinner as part of their Easter buffet , but it ain't gonna be country ham w/ biscuits and red eye gravy . This is Michigan , not Arkansas , after all . Perhaps you should purchase a ham and prepare dinner at home , to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for . Ham hunting around these parts can be a great adventure .

A country ham link http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/684397 but none of them have bar service that I know of. As JP said the Dearborn style of ham is very popular in SE Michigan (go figure) and there will be a full range of choices (Rugby Grill/Roast to coney island) Easter choices.

I bet you could get everything you are looking for at Zingerman's Roadhouse. I'd be surprised if they didn't offer ham on Easter. Email them and see.
