Best eats at Spring Training Venues

In the farthest leftfield corner of Hohokam Stadium in Mesa there is a truck that sells Iowa style fried pork tenderloin sandwiches. It is the single best ballpark food that I have had anywhere.

That does sound good. We just got back from a spring training trip visiting the Rangers in Surprise, the Dodgers in Glendale and the Mariners in Peoria. Peoria had the best food and specialty beer selectionof the three. We had a delicious BBQ chicken wrap that was so big that we split it and still couldn't finish it. They also had a Greek stand that looked good as well as pizza that looked better than average.

Surprise has some good burgers grilled fresh that are large and cooked well. Glendale had by far the longest lines and the worst beer selection.

I'm ready to be back watching the Giants here in SF and enjoying a cha cha bowl. Go Giants!

Be sure to ask that they serve your pork tenderloin hot from the fryer. its awesome.

I think you are right that they routinely fry them to order. Besides the high quality pork the quick transfer from fryer to mouth is what makes this so good!
