Help Planning Honeymoon

I am trying to plan a honeymoon for May/June 2012. We are most interested in just enjoying the local cuisine/wine. We will have two weeks to spend and the only place I am positive I want to spend a few days in is San Sebastian. Otherwise we are considering Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, or anywhere else that peaks our interest. We would like to do some cooking lessons and wine tours as well. Any thoughts on where else to go during those two weeks keeping in mind that the food is the number one priority?

  1. For two weeks, with San Sebastian, I would pick either Madrid or Barcelona then down to Andalusia. The area around Barcelona has some excellent wineries and there are tours available. Both cities are fun and full of good eating places, from simple to the high-end. Andalusia has the beautiful country side; wonderful medium size cities, historic art and architecture and tapas. Jerez is the sherry capital and it is easy to visit the big sherry producers in that city. I am not too familiar with Portugal but there are some very knowledgeable posters on that country.
