I know there is a place to get carne asada fries in Santa Maria I just don't know exactly where and what the name of the place is? Can someone help me out?

Carne Asada Fries? as in FF with CA? Never heard or seen in SM...fries would just seem out of place in a DeliMex.

Can you give more details? Remember anything?

Carne Asada fries are very common in taco shops down here in San Diego. It's fries topped with carne asada, cheese, and guacamole. Never seen any on the central coast though.

Wow, carne asada fries? Must be something relatively new to Mexican cuisine since fries are not generally considered in traditional dishes. Peruvian I can see but not Mexican. I believe potatoes were first cultivated in the Andes so maybe south or central American dishes would be similar? I would be curious also to see if someone served it there? Sounds good though.
