midtown Indian

Not my normal neighborhood I am looking for good Indian food for this Saturday night for some out of towners. Thanks

  1. chola is in midtown. if you're talking the southern end of midtown youre almost in curry hill - , you could do dhaba on 28 and lex.

    1. In addition to thew's recommendations I'd also point you to Darbar Grill. They're the restaurant I most often frequent, mainly because of its convenience, though the food is good, too. Though I haven't been yet, Tulsi has been getting some buzz on these boards. The chef was formerly at Devi, a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant.
