Great schnitzel in Montreal

Does anyone have a favourite?

Also, does any cafe in town make a good chicken schnitzel sandwich?

      I would suggest Restaurant Berlin on Fairmount, I enjoyed their schnitzel.

        Ordered a great chicken shnitzel platter from Chez Benny (VSL) last night. $15.95 (tax in) gets you 3 well breaded, crispy, not greasy pieces of shnitzel with a load of ffs or rice, 3 choices of salads and hot pita (thicker Israeli-style pita with a well formed pocket). Just added a splash of lemon and the shnitzel was awesome - even delivered!

            The VSL location delivers for a minimal charge & I think it depends on your location.

            Cafe Bano on Sherbooke West in NDG. Small place, very nice people.

              Thanks kpzoo - I searched for schnitzel but only found the old Alphenhaus thread! Chez Benny looks interesting (Chinese, Lebanese, and schnitzel?!)
