Need some help with time table for upcoming Sonoma County wine trip
We are 4 people arriving to SF at 10am.
Day 1 We will head directly to the Healdsburg area and I am wondering how many wineries we might be able to see that day. I thought we could drive straight to Jimtown Store, and pick up some lunch and drive to Ridge where we get a flight to have with our lunch. Afterwards to Lancaster Estate and then maybe Mazzocco before heading to the hotel and rest before dinner. We have dinner reservations at Dry Creek Kitchen the first night. We want to be able to walk to eat so we can enjoy some wine.
Day2
The second night we move to the Farmhouse Inn, so I thought we could do some wineries like Michel-Schlumberger, Papapietro Perry, Rafanelli and then maybe C. Donatielo or Moshin.
Dinner the second night at Zazu.
Day 3 I thought we would do some sight seeing. Drive to Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve, then to Jenner and then Bogeta Bay, before heading back to Farmhouse Inn for dinner. Will we have time to stop for a tasting at Merry Edwards on the way back? Also any suggestions for lunch?
Day 4 we fly out of SFO at 6pm. Will we have time to take the road thru Sonoma and visit Mayo Reserve?, lunch in Sonoma, walk around the square and then either visit Gundlach Bundschu or Keller Estate before heading to the airport to return rental car and make our flight.
I want to say thank you to all the people who participate on Chowhound. I have been reading all the posts and it is so fun and informative to read everyones personal opinions. Thanks for your time and help.
Please let me know if you think I have over planned, also if eating at both DCK and Farmhouse Inn, isn't overkill on the same type of food.

If your plane lands at SFO at 10:00am, by the time you collect your bags, pick up your rental car and drive to Healdsburg, it will likely be at least 1:00pm. Driving thru San Francisco and then Santa Rosa at mid-day on a Saturday will likely take you longer than you think it will.

FYI, C Donatiello winery is not open. Many rumors swirling around that the winemaker Donatiello has been cut loose, that the tasting room is moving . . . don't know what the truth is. In any case, be sure to call ahead before your visit.

Check out the Reserve room at Mayo Family.

The food and wine pairing ( Reservations a must) suits the lunch needs.
Allow enough time to enjoy the experience.
Be at SFO by 4:30 to make your 6 pm flight.

Dry Creek Kitchen would not be my first choice to eat in Healdsburg. Other better choices include (fancy &&&&) Cyrus, Willi's Seafood and Raw Bar, and maybe Shimo which isno longer a steak house.

I loved the wine pairings at Mayo, definitely recommend going there, but they were just a few bites. Not a lunch, unless you had a really big breakfast.
The OP didn't specify what day of the week they were traveling, but I would allow more time at the airport just in case of long lines and also plenty of time for driving to the airport due to traffic. Returning a rental car takes more time, so maybe plan to be there by 3:30, return the car, tram into the airport and assess the security lines.
SFO has some pretty good food options and a few nice places to get a glass of wine if all goes well and you have some time to spend before you board your flight.

I think overall your schedule sounds fairly reasonable to me. I recently did a fairly similar trip with my husband for our anniversary (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/792872). We also stayed at the Farmhouse Inn and loved the inn (including our dinner there). I would recommend you ask the Farmhouse for a list of their winery partners - we had good experiences at the wineries we tried on the list and most of them had complimentary tastings for Farmhouse guests. In general, I think 3 to 4 wineries is reasonable in a day, but more than 4 would be too many. For your lunch in Sonoma, I would recommend the Fremont Diner (if that is your sort of thing).
