Village Cantina Closed? YYC

I was walking passed Village Cantina in Inglewood the other day and noticed that the restaurant looked shut down. It looks like they are renovating it though.

Anyone have any clues as to what's going in there?

It was sold a few months ago to the owner of Salt & Pepper. I imagine that they're just going to turn it into one of those...

Salt & Pepper makes me long for the days of Chi Chi’s. The only thing about S & P that reminds me of Mexico is the service.
