I am asking on behalf of a friend who is not a drinker and needs to bring a bottle to a dinner party. I can't really help out because I am sojourning in Chicago for the year. I could make suggestions to her but there is no certainty she could easily find those wines in LA without some looking around. Of particular interest would be a good Malbec or Cotes du Rhone. Thanks!
