Weekday lunch in Malden?

My husband and co workers are going to a meeting tomorrow afternoon in Malden. He called and asked if I could find them a casual lunch place. Any place with good food I should recommend?

  1. No decent food in Malden? How about a nearby town?

    1. How about Habesha or Fuloon?

All Seasons Table and Exchange Street Bistro in Malden center.
        Turner's Seafood Grill in Melrose.

Will they be in Malden Center? All of the above, and I would add Pasta Market Cafe on Ferry Street. They make their own pasta & gnocchi. There's an appetizer on the menu that's "stuffed gnocchi" - it's a thin shell of gnocchi dough with a goat cheese filling. We tried it last weekend and really enjoyed it.

Here's a link to many of the Malden restaurants info and menus:

      2. Some good suggestions in here. I would also add pho hoa.

        1. If you are interested in authentic chinese food rather than the standard Americanized fare, then Fu Loon is one of the very very very best restaurants in the Boston area. If you're not looking for a dining adventure but something more safe and standard, I'd probably go with All Season's Table, which has a wider array of "safe" pan asian choices in nicer atmosphere.

          1. If they just want something very casual that will likely satisfy any picky eaters, Pearl St. Station is OK. It's a steak tip/pizza type of place.
