Halal Restaurants in Toronto
Just wondering if there are any decent 100% Halal restaurant in the GTA? No Alcohol places please (I don't trust- only the chicken is halal places with the bar in the back places).
I'm tired of Kabobs and Shawarma's.
I've been to Walima, Kara Mia, Restaunt Malaysia, and Alffy's.
Just wondering if I missed any hidden gems.

As mentioned in this thread and throughout Chowhound, your best bets are:
Sukho Thai on Parliament.
Djerba La Douce
Bamiyan Kebob
Shawarma Empire
Makkah on Danforth
Sofra Istanbul on Steeles/400
Pizza Pide across from Gerrard Square
Afghan Village Restaurant on Don MIlls Rd is worth a mention.
The 5th Element on Queen west is also really good, serves Halal meat, but I believe they serve alcohol. It's Indian-fusion done right.
There is also Halal Beef Lamb House. I'm not sure if they're still on Sheppard/Birchmount or if they moved. It's Asian-Uyghur inspired food.

Lahore Tikka House for Halal Pakistani cuisine. It's between Coxwell and Greenwood on Gerrard East (1365 Gerrard East), and looks super ghetto, but the food is delicious, and one of the best places I've been to for no-nonsense Pakistani street food. http://www.lahoretikkahouse.com/

Djerba La Douce is Halal and has good food. Have you tried it? Much beter than Walima, in my opinion.
There are all sorts of Halal places in the Thorncliffe Park area.
