Sorry, I have to disagree with the BOTTEGA LOUIE recommendation. I live there. The first time I went there (several months ago), the service and food were both good. Went back recently and both service and food were AWFUL.

Both times, the loudness of the place was obnoxious. You'll end up having to scream at your companions in order to be heard!

Bottega Louie!! Love their food, fabulous pastries, and the interior decor -- classical architecture, soaring ceilings with lots of marble and brass, yet the vibe is definitely modern. Feels very New York. Hope you don't mind noise.
